While I write and read about makeup application and products, nothing can replace actually seeing how it's done. Rather than going to a makeup counter where a professional will apply my make up, I prefer to watch videos so I can recreate different looks myself at any time.
I mainly watch professional make up artist Lisa Eldridge's videos when I want to try out a new look. Eldridge has worked with almost every celebrity or model and has created gorgeous cover looks for every major magazine. Her videos are short and easy to follow, teaching viewers how to create a look in about 10 minutes. Here are my favorites:
